From the Manufacturing Floor to Enterprise IT

      I didn’t start my career in a corporate boardroom—I started on the production floor. After supporting my young family through blue-collar jobs like commercial electrical work and welding, I took a job on a manufacturing line in Cleburne, TX. I learned the realities of production, inventory, and logistics by doing the heavy lifting myself. When an entry-level IT assistant role opened up, I took it and never looked back.

      Over the next 17 years, I worked my way up from that assistant role to IT Manager, mastering everything from complex Epicor ERP and EDI integrations to network engineering and database administration. Dream IT Tech Services exists to bring that 17 years of hard-won, enterprise-level experience back to Joshua and the surrounding areas, delivering high-end technical solutions with the honesty, grit, and follow-through you expect from a small-town neighbor.

Notable Custom Solutions Developed:

• Epicor Production Entry & Tracking: Engineered and developed an active job dashboard and dual-barcode inventory entry system for real-time manufacturing visibility and tracking. Code named Terminal-TwoStep.

• Barcode Verification System: Developed cost-effective, automated barcode verification scanners active on production lines (utilizing open-source hardware) to verify matching barcodes. Code named Barcode Bandits.

• QIR Web Application: Built a dedicated Quality Incident Report application from the ground up to streamline compliance and quality control tracking.

• B2B Data Automation: Architected robust EDI/AS2 communications, Python workflow scripts, and complex SQL database integrations to connect siloed enterprise systems.
